Lamar Odom has left hospital three months after he was admitted, following a suspected drink and drug overdose in Nevada. The former NBA star and ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian was found unconscious at a brothel before being rushed to hospital.

Now, Lamar, 36, has been moved to a private rehab centre, thought to be close to Khloe’s home in Los Angeles.

His recovery is going to be a long process but Lamar is improving slowly. Last month, his children, Lamar Odom Jr., 13, and Destiny, 17, spent Christmas with him at the Cedars Sinai Hospital

“Lamar is doing way better,” an insider told Us Weekly. “He was so happy the kids were there with him for Christmas and they were so happy to be with him.

“The kids were happy … to bring him gifts, all of his favourite things that they wrapped up. They had so much fun. It was very emotional and very happy.”

According to reports, Lamar is now walking without the use of a frame and doctors have hailed his recovery as “miraculous”.

When Lamar was first admitted to hospital the outlook seemed bleak, with Khloe, 31, later revealing doctors had given Lamar just four hours to live.
