Lauren Goodger recently took to Instagram in a bid to prove that she doesn’t edit her photographs, but now fans have lashed out at the TV personality for a comment she made about the paparazzi.
The Only Way Is Essex star accused the paps of photoshopping pictures of her body, just weeks after her own followers accused her of doing the same thing to her social media pictures.
In a video, Lauren said: “What a beautiful summers day! Had a pap outside my house again today and had a call saying I look like I've gained weight!
"Well this is the real me in a "video" which you can't edit so I'm sorry to say but these scumbag paparazzi need stop making me look 4 times the size!!!"
But she later took to Twitter to say: “Ain’t it sad that I don’t want to go to marbs or Ibiza because of the paps and what they do to me… if they didn’t I’d be out a lot more.”
However, her usually supportive fans were not happy with her comments, calling her out because her profile picture appears to be a pap shot – and her tweet came straight after she had retweeted snapped images of her taken on holiday.
‘Your profile picture was taken by a pap! Can’t have it both ways,’ one wrote.
‘It must be terrible for you. People have lost children and family members after the bombing and you don’t want to go on holiday,’ another fumed.
Others even accused her of doing ‘fake set up shots’ during a recent trip to Dubai, where she was spotted draped over hand rails in her bikini.
‘But it’s ok for you to get the paps to do fake ‘set up’ shots breathing in on holiday to show off and scrape a few quid? Get over yourself!’
Lauren has openly spoken about her body issues, and has also slammed unflattering pictures of herself on numerous occasions, but this time it proved too much for her social media followers.
But she also made a big statement by changing her Instagram byline ...
