Following the birth of son Eric earlier this year, Simon Cowell has surprised many of his close friends by becoming a bit of a family man.
He boasted his ‘pride’ over son Eric following his arrival and, according to his girlfriend Lauren, Simon is even open to the idea of giving baby Eric a sibling, preferably a sister.
The American told The Mirror: ‘I would like one more… I think it will be a girl, Simon wants a girl very badly.’
Lauren revealed that she never thought she would have more children (she has a son from a previous relationship) but falling pregnant with Simon’s child was a ‘blessing.'
The brunette beauty said: ‘I was never able to have a child for a long time, it’s the biggest blessing… With Simon I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. He’s an amazing dad, he does all the nappies, very hands-on. I love him.’
Lauren fell pregnant following a relationship with the TV talent show judge, which was rocked with scandal after it was revealed that Lauren was still married to one of Simon’s closest friends.
Simon later admitted regretting the affair, but revealed he was happy over what resulted from the relationship- his son Eric.
