Liam Payne has revealed what he sees in his baby son Bear’s future - and it won’t be a life in the public eye.

The former One Direction star has spoken out about his first son, who he shares with his pop singer partner Cheryl.

The couple welcomed their first child together in March this year but have kept him hidden from public view, not sharing pictures of his face on social media.

On why the pair have only posted pictures of the little boy’s tiny hands and feet online, Liam told The Telegraph: “We’ve only shown him in glimpses.

“We don’t want him to have the pressure that me and Cheryl have, as household names.

“We want him to enjoy himself first and then figure it out.”

Meanwhile, Liam admits he still can’t believe he’s in a relationship with former Girls Aloud star Cheryl.

He said: “It’s a ridiculous place to be in. She’s even more amazing than I thought.

“I was watching her do (her single) Fight For This Love when I was a kid, and now we’re together with a kid. I feel like I’m X Factor’s biggest winner.”

And the ex boyband singer says his girlfriend helped him when it came to embarking on his solo music career.

“We think about the same things,” he said. “She understands what my life is like.”

“She knows what it’s like to sit on the Graham Norton couch (or) we can talk about her L’Oréal work.

“It’s not that we’re ‘a brand’ as a family, but we help each other.”
