Lindsay Lohan has become better known for her partying than her acting in recent years, but that's all set to change.

The former wild child and tabloid favourite has revealed that she's currently filming scenes for a new television comedy set to air on Sky 1. And if you thought that was unexpected news, we've got some more for you. Not only does she star alongside Harry Potter legend Rupert Grint but she's sporting a rather fetching new hairstyle too.

With her red hair cut into a sleek bob, Lindsay looks like she could be related to Rupert and we have to say, we quite like this groomed version of Ms Lohan. The show, titled Sick Note, also stars Shaun of the Dead's Nick Frost and is about compulsive liar Daniel Glass (Rupert Grint) who is misdiagnosed with esophageal cancer.

After the diagnosis everyone around him starts to treat him better so he decides not to let them know it was actually a mistake. The lie spirals out of control, of course, and Daniel has to spend all his time trying to prevent the truth from getting out.

We can't wait to see Lindsay back on screen where she belongs especially after such a turbulent few years. Earlier in 2017 she made an appearance on Good Morning Britain where she explained why she'd found it so hard to adjust from child star to serious Hollywood player: "I think at the time when I was being hounded by paparazzi it was the beginning of this era. We didn't have Instagram or Twitter, it was the beginning of all these things starting, it was the beginning of a phenomenon and I was left to my own devices which is never really a good thing when you're young."

Wth a new show on the horizon it looks like Lindsay's past is well and truly behind her.
