Talking on Loose Women on Wednesday morning, Ayda Field opened up about her and Robbie William’s relationship.
Speaking about when the couple first got together, Ayda revealed that the pair “had a couple of break ups”.
Ayda then explained how Cameron Diaz was the one who kept the pair together: “He went to the Chateau Marmont and got talking to Cameron Diaz.
“While they were talking, she said to him, ‘You obviously still love your girlfriend, you need to go home to her’.
“And he did. I always have a special place for her in my heart now,” she added.
It was revealed that Robbie was waiting in the green room; as Linda Robson revealed he always comes along to the show whenever Ayda is on to show his support.
And it was only a few weeks ago that it was revealed Ayda would be joining the Loose Women as a guest panellist on occasion, and Robbie has always shown his loving support.
Ayda and Robbie have two children together, their daughter Theodora (Teddy) who is three and their 16 month old son Charlton.
Earlier in the show, Ayda was speaking about turning 40 and that she thinks “it’s cool”.
“30 was a big deal because I was saying goodbye to my twenties, but it was awesome. I am happy. I have a wonderful husband and kids,” she explained.

We think they make a lovely couple and we’re so glad Cameron Diaz was on hand to help bring the two of them together.
But the path to happiness has not always been easy for the couple, as Ayda revealed Robbie was suicidal at the height of his fame.
