Coleen Nolan and Andrea McLean have been good friends for a long time, thanks to sharing a table on ITV’s Loose Women.

However things took an awkward turn yesterday when the pair dressed up in tutus and leggings to try out a few ballet moves.

Coleen, in particular, was unimpressed by her get-up, remarking: “I’ve never seen a ballet dancer that looks like this.”

However Andrea disagreed.

She said: “Oh come on, I’ve seen that Disney film.”

There was an awkward pause, as everyone sat back and attempted to figure out which Disney film featured ballerinas.

And then there was a sudden intake of breath as everyone landed on the same film title.

Yup, we’re talking about Fantasia.

Here’s a brief reminder of the ballerinas in THAT iconic scene:

Oh dear.

Coleen was EXTREMELY unimpressed by her co-star’s comments, firing back: “That was a hippo!

“In Fantasia that was a hippo.”

However Andrea seemed unperturbed, simply hugging her co-star and suggesting they try the dance skit later on in the show.

“If she hasn’t thumped me by then,” she added cheekily.

Plenty of viewers found the skit funny, with one writing: “Thank you all for the laughter I've had since Fridays show with the boys.

“I love the panel.”

Others, however, accused Andrea of being ‘cruel’ - and of ‘fat shaming’ Coleen.

“I didn't think using Coleen as the joke was funny,” raged one. “Seemed cruel and rude.”

Another added: “Fat shaming at its best.”
