Former TOWIE star Maria Fowler is expecting her first child any day now, and she celebrated the imminent arrival of her baby girl with a pink themed baby shower.
She marked the occasion on her Twitter and Instagram pages, sharing super adorable pictures throughout the day.
She first uploaded a picture of her door adorned with a giant pink bow, captioning it: “It’s a beautiful day for a baby shower.”
And she seemingly took the theme very seriously, even posting a snap of her wearing pink-lensed sunglasses.
All the food and decorations seemed to be sticking to the theme, and she looked super happy while posing with a balloon adorned with the words: “Maria’s baby shower.”
She took to Twitter to document her day, tweeting: “Had such a lovely baby shower today. Thankyou everyone who came,” and “Ready to meet our princess now.”
It was great to see Maria looking happy, particularly after she has spoken publicly about her issues with pregnancy.
She had previously tweeted: “There's so much shame attached with admitting you aren't enjoying pregnancy.
“I get so relieved when other women tell me they found it hard,”
“It's not even a body issue.I feel like I haven’t put much weight on at the moment. It's the other side effects pains etc that are hard.”
She also revealed her worries about giving birth to her daughter, tweeting: “If baby doesn't turn looks like it will be a Caesarian. Ladies when did your babies turn? No way am I having ECV.”
Maria has also attracted some criticism for her actions while pregnant. When she uploaded a picture to Intagram of her eating a soft ice cream, she was forced to hit back at a troll who claimed it was bad for her unborn baby.
She said: “Midwife told me it was fine and I look after my own unborn baby thank you,” before adding: “How rude.”
