This week we gave you the wonderful news that Maria Fowler had given birth to a beautiful little girl.

Maria and her partner, Kelvin Batey, took to Twitter to announce to the world that their gorgeous bundle of joy had arrived. They also confirmed that they decided to name their baby daughter Evie Paris Batey, which we absolutely love!

Confirming the news, Kevin said: “Finally got my girls home after a complicated birth. So proud of the both of them and thankful things are ok now,”

“To meet my soulmate & be lucky enough to start a family with her is the best thing that has ever happened to me.nothing can compare.so happy.[sic]”

Now, Maria has uploaded a very sweet picture of her and her little one that has melted our hearts.

Captioning the adorable image with a simple “Unconditional,” the picture shows both mummy and daddy holding their newborn.

Fans have been supportive of the couple, leaving lovely messages of support.

"So pleased for you and daddy - nothing like the love you feel," one said.

"Capture everything babe, they grow so fast and before you know it their tiny fingers won't be so tiny!" commented another.

It’s evident that the pair are already completely smitten with baby Evie. She was born on 25 September and weighed 8lb 1oz following a complicated birth.

During Maria’s pregnancy, there was a lot of concern about her health. She suffered from Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction, “uncomfortable symptoms caused by a stiffness of your pelvic joints or the joints moving unevenly at either the back or front of you pelvis,” according to the NHS website.

Maria also faced backlash when fans were unhappy with the 30 year-old wanting eyelash extentions for the birth, and for eating a soft ice cream.

However, Maria and Kelvin have ignored the negativity and are no doubt just enjoying their time with their precious baby.

Twitter has been overwhelmed with comments wish the pair well.

We wish the couple – and baby Evie - all the best!
