TOWIE's Mario Falcone is now engaged to Becky Miesner
Mario Falcone has opened up about his relationship with his fiancé Becky Miesner and confessed his previous engagement to Lucy Mecklenburgh was fake.
Earlier this month Mario revealed he proposed to his girlfriend in Santorini and she said yes. Announcing the wonderful news on Instagram, by posting a photo that captured the proposal, he wrote: "She said YES!! Very very happy and lucky."
Now the TOWIE star has slammed his first engagement to his ex-girlfriend of two years Lucy. The 29-year-old infamously proposed to Lucy on the television show and although she said yes the couple split a year later. In the past Mario has admitted if he wasn't on the reality show it's unlikely that he would have proposed.
He told Star magazine: "I had a lot of pressure on me and the time to do a big engagement. Maybe I wouldn't have done that if I wasn't on the show."
We all knew that Mario probably wouldn't have proposed to Lucy if they wasn't on TV but now he has confessed that unlike his relationship with Becky, his engagement to Lucy was fake. He explained to OK! magazine: "This engagement is real – the other one wasn't real.
"It was on national TV and planned. This one is the One."
Mario who gushed that he "loves this girl" and plans to "spend the rest of his life with her" has already thought about his future with his fiancé and hinted that he might "plan three and end up with four" babies.
Wow!
Mario has previously admitted to OK! that his entire family are fond of his fiancé, he said: "She’s the first girlfriend they’ve really warmed to.
"I think I’m in a relationship that’s stable enough and my life now is stable enough to have children."
You know what they say, first comes marriage then comes a baby…
We can't wait to see their wedding pictures.
Since Lucy and Mario split, the Essex baby has moved onto Lewis Hamilton and is apparently now dating Ryan Thomas from Coronation Street.
