Marvin Humes has shared an adorable story about his three-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai and a friend she made on holiday.
Posting a picture of the two girls playing on Instagram, the former JLS singer wrote: “I’ve sat and watched my daughter play with this little girl on holiday all week. Alaia doesn’t speak a word of Polish and the other girl doesn’t speak a word of English yet everyday she has been asking to play with her ‘best friend’ they chat along all day without a care in the world and they have no barrier. Childhood is a beautiful thing man ❤”
The television presenter’s followers were quick to comment, with many recalling similar experiences of their children making hoilday friends.
One person wrote: “My little one was like this when we went to Greece. She met this girl from the Netherlands and they were inseparable for our whole trip.”
Another fan commented: “Aww it’s amazing how children communicate in their own way, we were on holiday in Spain when our now 21 year old son was eight years old he met a lovely Dutch boy called Raul. Neither spoke each other’s language but they communicated in the universal language of football for two weeks and after when they got home!”

Former X Factor contestant Marvin is holidaying in the Maldives with his pregnant Saturdays singer wife Rochelle, who is expecting their second baby.
The couple announced they were going to have a second child in November last year when Rochelle shared a picture of her baby scan online.
She put a Father Christmas hat on the image and added the words: “Santa isn’t the only one coming to town.. Baby Humes due 2017.”
Rochelle captioned the picture: “Best Christmas pressie ever. And then there were 4..”
