The 44-year-old TV presenter, who is currently enduring the I’m a Celebrity jungle, was reportedly sexting a male model, according to 28-year-old Jack Cockings.
He told The Sun: “I went into her phone and looked through her messages. She had been exchanging semi-naked underwear shots with a well known model.
“I was angry and hurt. I felt betrayed.”
Roofer Jack said when he discovered the messages he considered calling off their May 2013 wedding.
He continued: “We had a big row because I questioned her straight away. She said she is a flirtatious person and said, ‘I am who I am, like it or lump it.’”

Jack previously accused Mel of domestic violence, claiming she attacked him while in a Mexico hotel room during their nuptials.
Although he insisted that wasn’t the first violent outburst from Mel, he said the publicised ‘assault’ at their home in North London was the ‘final straw’.
He said: “I was in the kitchen and she came in and went mental. She told me the whole marriage was a publicity stunt, so I started packing my things into black bin liners, but she was still trying to have a go at me with slaps.
“I locked myself in the bedroom and rang the police because I wanted to show her that what she was doing was unacceptable.”
Mel was originally given a caution for common assault, but fought her case and started legal action to clear her name.
In August this year it was confirmed that the caution would be wiped from Mel’s record.
At the time her lawyer said: “This has been a testing time for Melanie. She believed strongly that it was necessary and appropriate to take legal action – not least for the sake of her children.”
Mel has two children Roman, eight, and Valentino Luca, 10, from her marriage to actor Daniel Caltagirone.
