As we edge closer and closer to the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, rumours of the show’s line up are starting to build.
Now it’s been reported that former Liberty X star Michelle Heaton is getting ready to don the ballroom sequins.
The Sun claims that Strictly bosses have been impressed by the 35-year-old’s ‘enthusiasm’.
A source told the paper: "The bosses were struck by Michelle's story and enthusiasm for the show.”
The mum-of-two said earlier this year: "I think Strictly's every girl's dream to do a show that makes you feel really glamorous and special.
"And the last few years have been really rough so it'd be really nice to feel womanly again and do something positive and learn a craft.
"I think I have a rather slim chance because everyone wants to do it but you never know."
The past few months have been tough for the pop star turned personal trainer after she underwent a hysterectomy.
The procedure came after Michelle also had a double mastectomy after discovering she was carrying a gene that gave her a much higher chance of developing breast and ovarian cancer.
