Former N-Dubz star Fazer has spoken of his relief after saving his daughter from a fire at their home.

The rapper, real name Richard Rawson, was at home with his little girl when the blaze broke out at about 10.30pm on Friday.

The star rushed to save his child who was asleep upstairs when he noticed there was smoke coming from the attic.

Fazer left his daughter outside with her uncle before calling the emergency services and rushing back inside in a bid to put out the flames.

Once the fire brigade arrived and got the shock situation under control it was determined a light in the bathroom set light to insulation in the loft and melted the water tank.

The musician was later allowed to return to the property and he filmed the devastation in a Snapchat video for fans.

In the clip, he says: “I’ve got to give blessings that everyone is OK. It could have been madness, it could have been so mad.

“I can see why people die from these fumes and this smoke, the whole water tank went.

“Material things can be replaced, the main thing is the family is safe, my missus, my daughter, everyone is OK.”
