He’s kept fans guessing over when he’ll walk down the aisle with Emily MacDonagh, having revealed in March that he’s open to bringing his wedding date forward to give his fiancée the summer celebration she’s always dreamt of.
Pete gushed about his doctor fiancée earlier this year, saying: “I always had visions of it being in 2016 because I thought she’d want to be settled into her job, but now Emily wants to do it in 2015, so let the games begin!”
Now insiders confirm that it’s even more likely Pete, 42, will marry Emily, with whom he has 17-month-old daughter Amelia, this summer.
But a source close to Pete, who has Junior, nine, and Princess, seven, with ex-wife Jordan – real name Katie Price – reveals he may be planning a secret wedding within the next few months to coincide with her three-month trip to Australia.
Jordan, 37, has hinted she has a “big job” happening Down Under and will be moving there this summer for up to three months with third husband Kieran Hayler and sons Harvey, 13, Jett, 21 months, and nine-month-old daughter Bunny.
Pete’s master plan is to have his wedding to Emily, 25, while Jordan is in Australia.
The source reveals: “Pete wants Katie as far away as possible from him on his wedding day. He’s told friends that it’s Emily’s day and he will not let Katie ruin that. He’s been very secretive about plans and is being deliberately evasive about dates. Pete’s worried that details of his wedding or the date might get leaked out. Katie’s hit out at him on Twitter in the past, and he wants to keep her in the dark as much as possible in case she’s tempted to slate him or create any drama ahead of the wedding. He’s going to great lengths to make sure Katie doesn’t overshadow things.”
