Amy Childs is currently expecting her first child with her boyfriend Bradley Wright
Former TOWIE star Amy Childs is due to have her first child laterthis month but the reality star has opened up on how recent events have left her feeling stressed.
After admitting she'd freeze her eggs if she hadn't met anyone by the time she was 30, fans were overjoyed a few months later when Amy and her partner Bradley Wright revealed their wonderful baby news. The 26-year-old star gushed: "I feel so overwhelmed and I keep waking up smiling.
"We’ve wanted a baby for so long, so we’re happier than we’ve ever been. We wanted one before Bradley went to prison but it didn’t happen," she explained to OK! magazine.
The yummy mummy has now revealed how stressed she has been after discovering one of her employees stole from her. In her new magazine column, she said: "We found out a girl who works for us has been stealing from us.
"She’s nicked thousands from under our noses. A customer told Mum she’d paid cash for something, but there was no record of it, so we looked at CCTV which confirmed our fears."
The TV star went and said: "We won’t get the money back, but that’s not what hurt. It’s that we trusted her and treated her well and she did this.
"It’s not what I’ve needed being heavily pregnant, it’s caused me lots of stress."
Amy who is due to welcome her little girl soon recently hit back after pictures of her drinking prosecco while pregnant emerged. At the time, she explained on Instagram: "So it seems I’ve been criticised following a set of photos which surfaced yesterday.
"I’m pretty hurt that people would think I am the sort of person who would put my baby at risk. Under no circumstances would I ever do that. Being a mum is something I’ve dreamt of for so long and I wouldn’t ruin it for an act of selfishness.
"The pictures you are all referring to have been taken way out of context. I’m a girl that loves a glass of fizz, but since finding out I was pregnant I’ve not gone near a drop of alcohol.
"Instead, I've found a non-alcoholic version of my favourite drink (prosecco) @scavirayuk which means I can still enjoy myself and have a chat with my friends over a drink!
She added: "I hope this clears it up for anyone that was doubting me. I will always put my baby first. 💞💞"
