Rebekah Vardy has hit out at online trolls who made her too scared to leave her home.

The mum-of-four, who is married to Leicester City footballer Jamie Vardy, appeared on This Morning earlier today and vowed to bring her online tormentors to justice.

Speaking to Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, Rebekah opened up about the vile threats that she has been a victim of - but added that the final straw for her came after they targeted her two-year-old daughter, Sofia.

Rebekah revealed her shock: "It was someone threatening to rape my daughter. I'm thick-skinned but bring my kids into it - that's a whole other level.

"Sofia was in Jamie's football kit and I put a picture of her on social media and someone responded.

"I don't think I've ever read anything as disgusting. I was distraught. We just got the police involved straight away.

"I feel like I don't want to go out of the house, like I don't want to go anywhere that someone would recognise me, especially if I'm with my children.

"I don't flaunt my lifestyle but I'm immensely proud of my children."

Poor Rebekah, who only gave birth to her and Jamie's son Finlay in January this year, is now working to get trolls prosecuted.

She said: "If someone is able to post abusive things online, they should be prosecuted for it. They should be tracked down, be found and dealt with - no different to saying something to someone's face.

"Posting something online, hiding behind a keyboard doesn't mean you can get away from it!"

Rebekah is now working on Channel 5 documentary Celeb Trolls: We're Coming to Get You - and tracked down one of the trolls who had been tormenting her in India.

She said: "People think because you are in the public eye they can say what they want to you. That's not just because I'm married to a footballer."

Perhaps Rebekah could team up with Katie Price, who is campaigning to make trolling a criminal offence!
