Sharon Osbourne isn't one to mince her words, so it comes as no surprise to hear that she's launched a scathing attack on her elder brother after he went public saying he wanted heal the pair’s long-standing rift.

"It seems all he wants is our money. I want absolutely nothing to do with him"

And, as it happens, Shazza has a very good reason for never wanting to talk to elder brother David Arden ever again.

She explained to The Mirror: “I'm fuming. We call him Fredo after the weak son in The Godfather who sold the family out – that’s my brother.

"I’ve not spoken to him in nine years but he pops his head up every now and then.”

She claims: “It seems all he wants is our money. I want absolutely nothing to do with him.

"He knows nothing about my life and he doesn’t know my children.

“David knows that everything is going to my kids but he seems to think he can get a few hundred grand out of my husband in his will... even though he’s said horrible things about Ozzy behind his back. It’s disgusting.”

Sharon also revealed that she has given David around half a million pounds in cash help over the years after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, the incurable condition that Sharon’s son Jack revealed he had last year.

Using the common illness as a reason why the family should reconnect, David went public with his desire to reconcile with his younger sister - but also made a series of stinging remarks about her appearance, her insecurities and her family.

So it's no wonder that Sharon has dismissed his desire to get back into contact with her and her children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack.

“I feel very bad for him that he has MS but I can’t help him with that. There is nothing I can do for him. As far as him wanting to help Jack with his MS, I think it is an excuse.

“I think he looks at me and my family, all successful, and it eats away at him. My mobile number changes every three months but my office number has been the same for 32 years. He could have got hold of me at any time.

“It seems he wants sympathy and he wants money. This is the story: I didn’t have anything to do with my family for 15 years.

"My brother beat my father up and put him in hospital. My father went to the police and then cut him out and threw him and his wife out of the family home.

"So he calls me. Ozzy and I take care of him. We pay his daughter’s school fees, for braces on her teeth, pay to keep her horses going.

"My husband paid £80,000 for a deposit on a house."

“Then I get him a well paid job on my talk show but he totally embarrassed me. He got busted for cocaine.

"I’ve given and given and given, and then he turned around and said some hideous things about me and my family.

"Ozzy has a big heart and gave him hundreds of thousands. Apartments, furniture, school fees, doctors fees, horses for his daughter... he’s paid for his kindness.”

She finished off by saying: “If David’s trying to split up my family or cause problems, then he’s failed because it will only ever bring us closer.

"For any family it must be difficult when one sibling is far more successful. I understand that but I can’t help it and I don’t feel guilty.”

David has since denied that Sharon lent him anywhere near half a million pounds and stated that he will never be jealous of Mrs O or her lifestyle.

“I’m not jealous. I say, if that is success I do not want anything to do with it. I would rather have my eyes poked out with steaming hot irons.

“It’s well documented the pain they all go through. Tragic. I love Ozzy – he is a saint to live with Sharon.”

Ouch. We're guessing this is one sibling fallout that won't be reconciled anytime soon...
