As the woman who wowed us as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, it’s natural that we always imagine the ultra-talented Sheridan Smith with her trademark golden tresses.
Which is why it came as SUCH a surprise when she stepped out on the BAFTA red carpet with a brand new ‘do.
Her chocolate brown pixie looked rich and healthy, showcasing her elfin features perfectly - not to mention making her peepers pop to the absolute max.

We’ll have to wait and see if this is just a case of Sheridan having fun as her super-short crop, which she cut off for her role as cancer patient Lisa Lynch in BBC’s The C Word.
After all, at the time of chopping her 'do, she told the Telegraph: "I know I'll never [have it short] again, so I can enjoy all the different styles it'll go through before I'm back to being me."
