Stephanie Davis has admitted she's 'furious' that Jeremy McConnell is in talks to join Ex on the Beach, after he was found guilty of assaulting her

The former Hollyoaks star is said to be angry that Jeremy is rumoured to be joining the MTV dating show just months after he allegedly assaulted her.

Irish model Jeremy was convicted of Steph's assault in March, and sentenced to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months.

In an attempt to re-vamp his image, he's keen to appear on TV again, and is currently in talks with MTV to appear on the next series of Ex on the Beach.

However, Steph is NOT happy about Jeremy's latest career move.

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to the reality star said: "Steph hoped that after Jeremy was found guilty, his place on Ex On The Beach would be withdrawn by MTV..."

"To say she feels let down that they are still letting him do it is an understatement. She’s raging.

“She doesn’t feel like he’s been punished at all. If anything, she knows that him taking part in the MTV show will relaunch his TV career at a time when she continues to lose work daily."

This news comes after Steph was forced to deny she'd been dropped from the Strictly Come Dancing line up.

Reports told The Sun she'd been in talks with BBC about the programme earlier this year, but nothing came of it.

She's not had the best time recently, as the CBB star admitted she'd suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage during her assault court case.

Steph broke the news to fans on Instagram, telling her followers: "Too loose a child is something I hope no one EVER goes through. The grief and pain is UNBELIEVABLE. Words CANNOT describe. My heart is BROKEN."
