Understandably, given the 41-year-old’s chic and polished reputation, Victoria’s ‘worse for wear’ look raised a few eyebrows.
But the fashion designer has finally commented on the pictures, admitting she ‘had a lot of fun’ that night.
Speaking to The Telegraph, former Spice Girl Victoria said: “That hangover wasn’t great, but I hadn’t had as much to drink as it possibly looked.”
Mum-of-four Victoria, who was recently named as one of Glamour’s Women of the Year, was throwing the bash to celebrate the first anniversary of her luxury fashion store, and was joined by retired footballer David, 40, and their 16-year-old son Brooklyn.
She continued: “They’re very supportive of what I do.”
Perhaps addressing the recent rumours of trouble in her marriage, Victoria added: “I don’t really go away that much. David and I work it out so that we’re not away at the same time, so one of us is always there.
“The other day we were at Harper’s school as she had won an a prize, and we were both there. It’s a juggling act, but we have great people around us to make sure it all works.”
Don’t worry, Vic – you aren’t the first, and definitely won’t be the last, person to have one too many, maybe just position David slightly to the left next time!
