Louisa, 17, beat Reggie ’N’ Bollie during Sunday night’s final – but a tweet posted to her official account has raised eyebrows.
The post – which has since been deleted – read: “X Factor-winner Louisa Johnson’s new single is out now! Get the winner’s single ‘Forever Young’ on iTunes now.”
And, although the winner’s single IS out now, the date stamp on the post revealed it was written on 11 December – TWO days before the grand final.
Social media mistakes happen, and the tweet was clearly pre-scheduled, but the bad timing hasn’t done anything to diffuse allegations this year’s show was fixed for Essex-born Louisa to win.
However head judge Simon Cowell has blasted the claims. He told the Daily Star: “The show isn’t fixed and I certainly didn’t tell the other judges who to save.”
Simon, 56, added: “I can categorically say we don’t do that.”
Despite Simon’s insistence, former hopeful Monica Michael has suggested it’s a possibility.
She said: “I don’t know if it’s fixed. Everyone has their own opinions about the show. If it’s fixed or not we’ll never know.”
Last night the judges heaped praised on Louisa ahead of her victory, with Simon gushing: “I don’t think you’re human. I have never heard anything as good as what you just did.”
