But now it’s been alleged Mason Noise isn’t the amateur he claims to be. Instead, he previously had a record deal, released music onto iTunes and has performed all over the world.

According to reports, Mason was signed to Ambition Worldwide Entertainment, and his label-mates included James Morrison, Tina Arena and Olivia Newton John.

On his official Mason Noise Vevo YouTube account, the 22-year-old has two professional music videos – the newest of which was uploaded last year.

Birmingham-based singer Mason is said to have spent the past couple of years performing around the globe in an attempt to break the music industry, and has gained a host of showbiz pals in the process.

These include former JLS star, and ex-X Factor contestant, Aston Merrygold, presenter Laura Whitmore and rap legend Missy Elliot.

Missy even tweeted her advice to Mason, telling him: “It’s not about how quick you build a house, it’s about how long the house stands.

“Always remember that hugs [sic].”

Now it’s been claimed Simon Cowell is attempting to cover up Mason’s professional past, as his music has disappeared from iTunes and steaming services, while a lot of his videos have been removed or hidden.

Mason and The X Factor have yet to comment on the reports.
