Zac Efron confirmed for steamy Baywatch movie role

Hold onto your hats ladies, because Hollywood hunk Zac Efron has been confirmed for a VERY important role.

The 27-year-old is set to grace the big screen in the Baywatch movie remake, which will apparently be R Rated.

Dwayne Johnson, AKA The Rock, let the news slip on Monday, tweeting: ‘BIG NEWS: Welcoming my dude @ZacEfron to #BAYWATCH. Our movie will be big, fun and RATED R. Like me when I drink.’

And while Efron himself has yet to confirm the news, the Twittosphere is getting seriously excited about the prospect of seeing Zac in some tiny red trunks.

Seth Gordon, director of Horrible Bosses, has already signed on for the project, as well as The Rock (obviously).

The plot will apparently centre on The Rock’s character - a straight-laced lifeguard who teams up with the younger, more rebellious Efron.

And who wants to wager a cameo from David Hasselhoff is in the pipeline, too?
