Peeing in the shower improves your sex life. Yes, really!

Fancy improving your sex life? Then it’s time to pee in the shower…

It is, strangely enough, one of THE most divisive topics out there; should you or should you not pee in the shower?

Plenty of people would immediately cringe away from the idea in horror, slamming it as ‘dirty’ and ‘disgusting’.

But, as it turns out, there’s one big benefit to letting go as you lather up.

And it all has to do with your sex life.

Lauren Roxburgh, a known fascia specialist, opened up to Goop about the concept.

She said: “The pelvic floor is one of the body’s primary stress containers.

“That pit in the base of your stomach is your pelvic floor in a permanent clutch.”

Lauren continued: “When you squat to pee as opposed to sitting up straight on the toilet, you automatically engage your pelvic floor and it naturally stretches and tones.

“Because your urethra is pointed straight down in this position all you have to do is relax for urine to flow out easily—as opposed to sitting up straight and having to strain to empty your bladder.”

So what does that have to do with our sex lives?

Well, as we’ve just discussed, squatting in the shower helps to relax and strengthen those pelvic floor muscles.

This can help prevent those annoying ‘oops’ moments, as it enhances bladder control.

But, more importantly, they can lead to seriously hot sex.

Think easier arousal, stronger orgasms, and more pleasure.

If that wasn’t enough for you to consider peeing during your next shower, there’s also the fact that it’s cleaner and more hygienic than using a toilet.

Plus it’s good for the environment.

Administrators from the University of East Anglia explain: "With 15,000 students at UEA, over a year we would save enough water to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool 26 times over."

Hmm… we’ve been given a LOT of food for thought here!
