Earlier this year, Dr Mandy Len Catron revealed that he had created a psychological experiment which had succeeded in making two complete strangers fall in love in his laboratory.
He told the NY Times that the brief for the experiment was very simple, explaining: “A heterosexual man and woman enter the lab through separate doors. They sit face to face and answer a series of increasingly personal questions.
“Then they stare silently into each other’s eyes for four minutes.”
He added that, six months after the experiment, two participants were married.
“They invited the entire lab to the ceremony,” he said.
But can this ever really work in the real world?
Well, the clever folks at AsapSCIENCE decided to try it out for themselves on two singletons - and the results were pretty eye opening.
It even ended with a VERY passionate snog.
