Scott Saunders QUITS The Apprentice

tv-2

There’s no denying it, The Apprentice 2015 was one of the most controversial series yet. Perhaps one of the most shocking moments was when candidate Scott Saunders QUIT before he was fired, following heavy criticism from Lord Sugar.

Although LS saved Scott, the business wannabe replied: “I would like to say thank you for the opportunity, but I would like to exit the process at this point.”

Unsurprisingly Lord Sugar did not seem phased, telling Scott: “It’s your choice if you want to.”

Scott later insisted he had ‘no regrets’ and said LS would ‘kick himself’ for losing him.

Gemma Collins and Bobby Norris fall-out in Marbella

During her time on The Only Way Is Essex, Gemma Collins was known for her fiery temper – but nobody ever expected the former car saleswoman to turn on best friend Bobby Norris.

However, during one of the Marbella specials, when Gemma confronted Lauren Pope and Vas J Morgan, Bobby accused GC of ‘throwing HIM under the bus’.

As Gem fell out with Lauren and Vas over some remarks she’d made, she claimed it was Bobby who’d been mocking Lauren.

Bobby said: “Gemma, now here’s when you’re supposed to be my mate. It was Chloe Sims. That was Chloe Sims that done that. Now don’t f***ing throw me under the bus. Come here and tell the truth.”

Gemma stormed off, and Bobby raced after her – but minutes later he returned and shouted: “She’s just thrown a f***ing drink at me!”

Thankfully, the pair have now sorted things out.

Lady Colin Campbell

We really tried, but it was just impossible to narrow I’m a Celebrity star Lady Colin Campbell’s shocking moments down to just one.

The 66-year-old royal biographer spent 19 days making diva demands, causing arguments and throwing insults at her fellow campmates.

Some of our favourites are:

“He IS a fat slob” – about Tony Hadley, after he’d called her cruel.

“T%%%%rs, 6%%%%rs, the whole bunch of you!” To the whole camp, after Tony and Jorgie Porter refused to be her servants.

“You are so full of sh*t that if you ever took an enema you would disappear off the face of the earth without trace” – directed at Brian Friedman.

After 19 days, Lady C sensationally quit the jungle – and there has since been reports she’s planning to sue for the way she was treated.

Spencer Matthews steroid addiciton

When Spencer left the Jungle after it was discovered he was addicted to ‘steroid-based medication’

When Spencer Matthews entered the I’m a Celebrity jungle, nobody expected him to pull a GC and leave after just three days – but that’s exactly what he did.

However, Spenny’s reason for quitting was slightly different: because he admitted he is addicted to steroids.

The Made In Chelsea bad boy later told the Mirror: “Why did I leave after just three days? The simple answer is that I screwed up, and have some explaining to do.”

It was later reported Spencer would head to rehab upon his return to the UK, and he’s among the names rumoured to take part in Celebrity Big Brother when it kicks off next month…

Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side fight

US star Farrah Abraham clearly missed Big Brother 7 – because she decided to take on BB legend Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace during an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.

While Aisleyne was her usual frank self, Farrah clearly couldn’t handle the criticism and started launching insults.

Aisleyne then threw the contents of her champagne glass in Farrah’s direction – only for the Teen Mom star to allegedly respond by throwing actual glasses back.

Unfortunately, ‘Allo, ‘Allo star Vicki Michelle was caught in the crossfire, and ended up being injured. This caused supermodel Janice Dickinson to throw a CHAIR at Farrah to stop her.

Who said all of the drama happens on the main show?

Ferne McCann eats a live spider

Proving that she’s the gutsiest Essex girl EVER – Ferne McCann more than rose to the challenge for I’m a Celebrity.

Ferne, who we’re more accustomed to seeing back fizz at the Sugar Hut, took part in a gruesome bushtucker trial, during which she ate lamb’s brains, a bull’s penis AND a live water spider.

While many applauded Ferne for facing her fears, a lot of people were left outraged over the ‘unnecessary’ animal cruelty.

Broadcast watchdog Ofcom confirmed over 550 people complained about the task, and admitted it was assessing the claims.

Sadly for Ferne, the trial wasn’t enough to take her all the way and Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison was crowned Queen of the Jungle 2015.

Jeremy Jackson REMOVED from CBB house for groping Chloe Goodman

It was one of the most explosive series of Celebrity Big Brother EVER, and it all kicked off with Jeremy Jackson being removed from the house after he was accused of groping fellow contestant Chloe Goodman.

After drinking a little too much during live face-to-face nominations, Jeremy retreated to the bathroom to vomit.

Model Chloe went in to check on the US star, but later fled the room in tears – claiming Jeremy had touched her inappropriately.

Following her eviction from the house, Chloe blasted claims she’d overreacted with Jeremy. She told The Sun: “Anyone who says [that] doesn’t know what it’s like to be powerless at the hands of a man. I was absolutely terrified.”

Mason Noise storming from X Factor stage

During this year’s X Factor, the drama started BEFORE the live shows. Simon Cowell was forced to blast wannabe Mason Noise in front of a live audience during the six chair challenge.

While auditioning for Simon, Cheryl, Rita and Nick, Mason asked the audience to take out their phones and film him. When Simon questioned this, Mason argued that he’d not been given enough air time in previous rounds.

Simon told Mason to apologise to the crew for criticising their choices – but Mason threw his microphone down and stormed from the stage.

However, Nick still took Mason to judge’s houses – where he won a place in the live finals.

BGT dog Matisse sparks outrage by using a stunt double

Britain’s Got Talent was hit by rumours of a fix this year, when champion dog Matisse was revealed to have used a stunt double during his high-wire performance.

During the live final, he was replaced by lookalike dog Chase – and Matisse’s owner Jules O’Dwyer later revealed it was because ‘he is scared of heights’.

Viewers were not made aware of the switch and, after Jules and Matisse were crowned the winners and given a £250,000 prize, many complained about being ‘duped’.

Ofcom confirmed they were investigating the performance – but Jules later insisted Matisse would still perform at the Royal Variety Show, another part of their prize.

Perez Hilton and Katie Hopkins CLASH in Celebrity Big Brother house

When Perez Hilton and Katie Hopkins were forced to live together for Celebrity Big Brother, we knew things were going to be tense.

But nobody could’ve prepared us for just how volatile the US gossip blogger’s relationship with the social commentator would be.

Katie made it clear from day one that she had no time for Perez, and the two of them repeatedly clashed over his alleged attention seeking and her ‘bad parenting’.

The rest of the house was forced to take sides, resulting in one of the most unstable CBB environments EVER. And we LOVED it.

Craig David makes comeback via X Factor performance

You can argue it wasn’t shocking, but nobody can say they weren’t surprised when Craig David joined X Factor finalists Reggie ’n’ Bollie on stage.

His comeback, after five years out of the industry, sparked meltdown on social media and viewers were overjoyed about having the 7 Days singer back on their screens.

Unfortunately, even a duet with Craig wasn’t enough to secure a win for Reggie ’n’ Bollie – and they came runner-up to 17-year-old Louisa Johnson.

Olly Murs’ live presenting slip-up

Poor Olly Murs. It seemed that he just couldn’t catch a break after landing a job co-hosting The X Factor alongside Caroline Flack.

His performance was regularly criticised on social media, despite the fact he’s a singer and not a presenter, and he more than likely only got the job because of his connection to show.

But his biggest downfall came during a sing-off between Monica Michael and Anton Stephens. After the two acts had performed, the judges each voted on who they wanted to send home.

While their choices sent the vote to deadlock, Olly got confused and announced Monica would be leaving the competition.

Which made it even worse when it turned out Monica DID receive the lowest amount of public votes and would be going home – leading to fix rumours for the rest of the series.

Simon Cowell cries during X Factor audition

He’s known as TV’s Mr Nasty, but Simon Cowell proved he’s more than capable of showing emotion during the auditions this year.

When Josh Daniel delivered a stunning rendition of Labrinth’s Jealous, viewers were stunned to see that Simon was crying.

However it was later revealed the song had stuck a real chord with the music mogul, as Josh’s performance came just days after Simon lost his beloved mother Julie.

Jeremy Kyle features ‘prettiest guest ever’

It’s never a surprise when a story from The Jeremy Kyle goes viral, but this year one girl almost broke the internet and was labelled the show’s ‘prettiest guest ever’.

Joelle Hughes appeared on the show to reveal her thieving boyfriend had left her homeless after his stealing got out of control.

And users on social media were quick to insist Jamie Munch Hurst was definitely punching.

One wrote: “There’s a girl on Jeremy Kyle that’s actually pretty AND a normal functioning human being, with all her teeth! Is this the 1st sign of Armageddon? [sic].”

Another said: “This girl on Jeremy Kyle may be the fittest girl to ever sit on that stage [sic].”

But it was later revealed Joelle had taken Jamie back, much to viewers disgust.

Lauren Goodger makes TOWIE return

Lauren Goodger made a triumphant return to The Only Way Is Essex – three years after quitting the show.

The 29-year-old is part of the original line-up, and was often at the centre of dramatic storylines thanks to her turbulent relationship with Mark Wright.

But Lauren popped up in the Essexmas special this year, flaunting her incredible new figure and gushing about why your ‘second’ love is always the best.

Although it’s currently unconfirmed, Lauren has admitted she wouldn’t rule out a full-time TOWIE comeback.
