When it comes down to it, we all know that we're amazing parents who would do anything for our kids and we all do the best we can, despite feeling like we're the worst in the world on occasion.

And yes, we enjoy seeing gorgeous photos of perfect celebrities who can't do one single thing wrong or with a hair out of place whilst we're stood in our slobby clothes decorated with baby food handprints.

But wouldn't it be nice if we could see into the actual REAL world of some of our favourite celebs to reassure us that they're actually just like us when it comes to parenting?

If this sounds familiar, you will be VERY pleased to hear that this will become a reality VERY soon.

Thanks to Channel 4's new show Parenting For Idiots, which will air Thursday 2 Feb at 10pm, will feature celebs like Jonathan Ross, Danny Dyer, Frankie Boyle, Lauren Laverne and Will Mellor talking about their worst parenting moments of all time.

Now THIS we cannot wait to see.

Jonathan, 56, has three adult children with his wife Jane Goldman - Betty, 25, Harvey, 22, and Honey, 19. He discussed a particularly embarassaring situation that occurred in a rather glamorous restaurant in Los Angeles: "I was out in LA with my wife once and we managed to get the whole family into this exclusive restaurant.

"It was the hippest, most desirable restaurant in LA and we had a gorgeous meal. In a fairly snooty place, they even found a high chair from somewhere.

"I went to go and pay the cheque and I came back and the calm had been replaced with chaos. My daughter had done a poo with such explosive force it had gone down and come out of the sides of her nappy, onto the table and onto the area around where she was sitting. I literally walked into a s*** storm."

Ok - that might happen to us somewhere like the local coffee shop, but at least we would be spared the embarrassment of being surrounded by very famous and rich people!

King of The Square (and our hearts) Danny Dyer has three kids with his wife Joanne - Danni, 19, Sunny, nine and Arty, two-and-a-half.

He said: "With potty training Arty at the moment, it's funny because he's such a little cave boy. The other day he was running around and he's got no nappy on and he had a pork chop in his hand because he doesn't like sitting at the table.

"So he's having an eyelash, which means slash, holding a chop just plotted over the potty and I thought what a legend, what a hero. That's my boy."

Danny goes on to explain that his little boy is a little bit of a bruiser - like father, like son, eh?

"He is a beaut. But he is an absolute nightmare. He walks into a room and scopes the gaff, he'll look to see what he's going to smash up first then he'll make his way around the room and smash everything.

"He comes up to you with a screw in his hand and you think what could that possibly be? And he'd dismantled the dishwasher, he smashed the oven door because he'd put some tongs in it and decided to smash the door and the glass."

Not only will it feature celebs who have kids discussing their most trying times as a parent - it will also feature famous faces who DON'T have kids trying to parent the children of strangers.

We literally cannot wait to see Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing and Mark-Francis Vandelli change a nappy!

Lauren Laverne, a BBC Radio 6 presenter, has two sons with her husband Graeme Fisher - Fergus, 8, and Mack, 5. She said: "The carpet.. It was my fault why give him a jar of navy blue nail varnish? It was impressive at the radius. You couldn't even be angry because it was like a Jackson Pollock."

Actor Will Mellor from Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps and Broadchurch has a son, Jayden, 11, and daughter Renee, seven, with his wife Michelle McSween.

He described an awful bathtime experience: "I love bathing my kids it's nice. We're all in the bath together and my daughter decided to have a poo in the bath, which was lovely.

"My son was playing with the toy and next thing... That's not a toy. It floated past, it's always my duty. My method is never chase the floater, drain the bath, plastic bag inside out just like you do with dog poo. Easy."

Queen of property Sarah Beeny has four sons, Billy, 11, Charlie, 10, Rafferty, seven and Laurie, six, with her husband Graham Swift, talked about the dreaded but inevitable infestation - nits.

She said: "You sort of have to embrace nits because it's part of having children, isn't it. I can't really get too wound up about nits.

"In fact, years ago, one of my children got nits and Graham got them out with a nit comb and he squashed it and my son was about five and said 'don't do that he's my friend'."

We're not sure we feel the same about nits as Sarah's little boy!
