It looks like poor Michelle Connor could be in for another huge dose of heartbreak in tonight's Coronation Street when Steve McDonald finally meets the baby he secretly fathered with Leanne Battersby. Michelle - played by Kym Marsh - is still grieving after giving birth to a stillborn boy earlier this year. How will she cope when, and if, she finds out that Steve already has another baby son?
Steve is left holding the baby after Gail decides to throw a party for baby Oliver at the Bistro. Unfortunately, Steve and Michelle are already there after Michelle told Steve that she wants to try for another baby.
After a series of mishaps while posing for a photograph, Steve is handed Oliver and, well, you can see from his face that he just falls in love with the baby.
Michelle becomes puzzled as she watches Steve gaze at Oliver, while Leanne can do nothing but watch on in horror. Is their secret about to come spilling out?
Viewers were left heartbroken earlier this week as Michelle held baby Oliver in her arms. Kym has won praise from fans who have been deeply moved by her portrayal of grief-stricken Michelle.
Coronation Street is on ITV tonight at 7.30pm and again at 8.30pm.
