Coronation Street fans will be delighted to hear the news that evil sex ring monsters Nathan Curtis and Neil Clifton will face trial for grooming Bethany Platt

Coronation Street bosses have officially confirmed that evil abusers Nathan Curtis and Neil Clifton will face trial after their horrific sex ring is exposed. Fans and the media have been speculating for months how the twisted storyline could end, but next week Bethany Platt receives a phone call from the police after giving a new statement. This week we see the teen finally report corrupt policeman Neil for raping her.

Bethany's brave statement, which comes after Neil threatens her and her family, leads to the police revaluating how the case has been conducted.

The new evidence leads the police to beleive there is now enough to charge both Neil and Nathan for their sexual abuse of Bethany.

The youngster is enjoying some much needed light relief as she and Craig Tinker take photos of Mary and Norris for their Mr & Mrs competition. But, just as she's beginning to enjoy herself, Bethany gets the call confirming that Neil and Nathan will face trial.
