During the Corrie Live episode, stunned viewers watched as Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) clubbed Callum Logan (Sean Ward) to death in a desperate attempt to save her sister-in-law’s life.

She and David (Jack P Shepherd) then dumped Callum’s body in Gail’s manhole - and he’s allegedly remained there, quietly decomposing, ever since.

So, when Gail (Helen Worth) excitedly makes plans for a party to show off her new annexe, it’s unsurprising that Kylie has a few reservations about attending.

Speaking with David, she explains that she can't bring herself to attend as they'll LITERALLY be dancing on Callum's grave - but her pleas fall on deaf ears, as David fiercely tells his wife to get a grip.

Still rattled, Kylie becomes convinced that she can smell Callum's rotting corpse - and begins sniffing at the annexe carpet.

David tells her that she's imagining things, pointing out that if they hadn't buried Callum's body, she'd now be serving a prison sentence.

Cue Gail walking in and hearing pretty much the entire conversation; oops.

But is Callum REALLY buried under the carpet?

We have a sneaking suspicion that he may not have been quite as dead as David and Kylie first believed, as we haven’t seen his body since the night he got bumped on the head.

Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor in the ITV soap, has waded into the ‘is he or isn’t he dead?’ debate.

"I know some people were questioning whether Sean Ward's character Callum is really dead as people said they saw him breathe," she wrote in her OK! magazine column.

She hinted heavily: “That would be a great twist wouldn't it?”

Hmm. We guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens next, won’t we?

Do you think Callum Logan is REALLY dead?
