A huge twist is set to come for EastEnders fans as one of the soap’s characters is set to leave next month.
The dramatic exit has been lined up for one of the BBC programme’s stars and the leaving party has already been thrown, according to The Sun Online.
Numerous huge storylines will play out on television screens in September and one of the stars who was at the bash will say goodbye to the series.
A source said: “There is a massive week of storylines coming up to launch the show into autumn and winter head first.
“One of the actors is leaving as part of a hugely dramatic week which will leave viewers not being able to wait for more.
“They will be missed but viewers will have to wait and see to watch all the action unfold on screens.”
Stephen Beale actor Aaron Sidwell was at the party along with his on-screen girlfriend Jacqueline Osborne, who plays Lauren Branning.
Former X Factor star Shaheen Jafargholi, who plays Shakil Kazemi on the soap, was also there with his on-screen partner Jasmine Armfield, who plays Bex Fowler.
They were joined by Zack Morris, who plays Keegan Baker, and Harry Reid, who is also part of the cast as Ben Mitchell, as well as Tilly Keeper, who plays Louise Mitchell.
The change comes as part of a major overhaul of the serial following the departure of former boss Sean O’Connor.
