EastEnders star Danny Dyer has been photographed looking happy and healthy on his extended break in South Africa
Ok, so lets just say how great it is to see Danny Dyer looking so smiley, tanned and generally just FIT, after all the drama of recent weeks. As you probably already know, Dan has been in South Africa, taking an extended break from the BBC One soap. Which, we think he's more than earned over the past four years - come on, he didn't even take time off for a proper honeymoon people.
Since he jetted off last month, Danny has kept a low profile on social media. But he popped up on one Instagram users feed last night, seeming happy to pose with a fan. The lucky lady ran into the Mick Carter actor in a local restaurant and - according to The Mirror - was happy to pose and flash a 'peace sign'.
Er...you might wanna take another look at that 'peace' sign people.
Could Danny be sending a not-very-subtle message to everyone who has made a huge drama of his time away from Walford? We think, yes.
Danny has been dogged by rumours of a permanent exit, fueds on set, diva-like behaviour and loads of other stuff, which EastEnders bosses have feverently denied.
They said back in February: "Danny is on a short break from EastEnders. This was not enforced by bosses nor has he quit the show."
Danny has remained uncharacteristically quiet about the whole shebang. Is this him having his say? Or has he just forgotten how to do a peace sign? Either way, it's good to see that face again.
