EastEnders fans were delighted when Danny Dyer made a surprise return as Mick Carter in tonight's episode
EastEnders fans have been rejoicing over Danny Dyer's shock return as Mick Carter in tonight's (Thursday) episode of the BBC One soap. As we all know by now, Danny took an extended break from filming to recover from exhaustion. He's been back on the Elstree set for a number of weeks but tonight was the first time he's been seen on screen since his comeback.
And what a comeback it was. Danny's character, Mick, walked into his bedroom at the Queen Vic to find daughter-in-law (and possible love interest) Whitney Dean, in HIS BED WITH ANOTHER MAN! Argh. He didn't look best pleased did he?
Mick doesn't know that Woody is the new bar manager, hired by wife, Linda, to run the pub while Mick was away.
He also doesn't know that his mum Shirley and Linda have been behind his back and have sold the freehold of Mick's beloved pub.
Poor Mick. Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow.
Fans of Mick were delighted he was back though. They took to Twitter in force to gush about his return.
