EastEnders fans were left in shock last night (Monday 6th February) when Denise Fox discovered that her and Kim aren't sisters after all. In fact, they're not even related.
Dee's "mum" Emerald planted the news on her girls, just before leaving the Square to catch a flight.
But if Denise was hoping for some answers about her true parentage, Emerald wasn’t giving any. She told the distraught Minute Mart worker that she didn't know who her real mum was and that her uncle brought her home one day.
And then she flounced off in a cab to the airport. Nice.
It was a shock that neither Denise, nor EE fans, saw coming. And one they weren't actually too impressed with either.
The twist has left a lot of fans hoping that Patrick Trueman will be revealed as Denise's biological dad. It doesn't look like this will be the case though as Patrick already ruled himself out of the running back in 2006 when he took a DNA test.
So who are Denise's real parents? And, more importantly, will they be coming to Walford now the secret's out?
