With Whitney now living with Mick in The Vic, it was only a matter of time before someone else noticed all the lingering looks between them. And our money was never on dopey Johnny, (who doesn't seem to do a lot of anything, if we're honest). It's actually Mick's mum, Shirley, who spots that things between her son and his soon-to-be-ex-daughter-in-law are a little bit more intense than they should be next week.

Mick is still struggling to keep afloat financially after the triple-whammy of th pub roof, Lee's debts and the fine all hitting at once. Shirley tries to help Mick out by turning to Ben and Kathy for help. But when Mick refuses to take Ben's money, she has to come up with something more creative.

Meanwhile, Mick's world is crumbling and he gets drunk at Sylvie's birthday. Whitney tries to help but leaves Mick embarrassed. When she opens up and explains she feels she's to blame for all the money problems, Mick cracks and breaks down.

When Whitney gives Lauren some relationship advice later in the week, Shirley warns her to back off Mick. Yikes. Shirley's terrifying at the best of times!
