EastEnders fans are NOT HAPPY with Aunt Babe after the Carters were arrested for serving alcohol out of hours on Tuesday (Feb 7) night’s episode.

Police raided The Queen Vic pub in the early hours of the morning after a tip-off that booze was being served up alongside bacon and eggs.

Viewers know that Babe was behind the illegal scheme – but it looks like the licence holders, that’s Mick, Shirley and Linda, could be the ones who get in trouble for it – and this could have very serious repercussions indeed.

Mick swore he had no idea what Babe was up to, but was held in custody – along with Shirley and Babe.

Viewers were even angrier when Babe (Annette Badland) claimed she was ‘just the cook’ and was just doing as she was told.

If Mick and Shirley are found guilty – it could mean losing their licence to serve alcohol – and therefore the pub.

We already know that Mick is facing money troubles after a leak sprung in the roof of The Vic. We also know that Max Branning has plans in mind for the pub after that mysterious meeting up The Shard.

The trio were held in custody overnight after being formally charged for breeching their licence.

EastEnders is back tonight – but will Mick and Shirley confront Babe over her actions and throw out on her ear once and for all?

Or has Babe got some cards left to play?

EastEnders is on for an hour tonight from 7.30pm on BBC1.
