Whitney and Lee have only been married for a few weeks and should still be in the loved-up honeymoon phase of their relationship, but this being Albert Square, things haven’t been easy for the pair, and now fans have begun to speculate that Whitney might have an affair.
In last night's EastEnders episode viewers saw Lee drunkenly blame his wife for all their money troubles. Luckily his dad Mick Carter was on hand to offer Whitney a place to stay... of should we say unluckily?
Yes, that's right - it's not just looking like Whitney might have an affair, but that her affair might be with her father-in-law, Mick.

You see eagle-eyed fans noticed that just before the pair Whitney and Mick said goodnight, they looked into each other's eyes and the atmosphere changed to something not-so-innocent.

Well yes, we think they could.
This isn't the first time there's been chemistry between Whitney and Mick - after all, last year viewers saw Whitney kiss her father-in-law, and even though that's all in the past, could those feelings be reignighted during these troubled times?
Also, Linda Carter is currently away from the square looking after her mother, and as Lee is continuing to struggle with his depression, both Mick and Whitney will be looking for some extra-marital support.
We wouldn't be surprised. This is EastEnders after all.
