Emmerdale's Marlon Dingle and Carly Hope have been enjoying a blossoming romance in the dales recently – going from best friends to succumbing to their passionate feelings for each other.
And with Marlon not being Carly's usual type and the level of confusion between them, could their romance be over before it has the chance to flourish?
Gemma Atkinson, who plays Carly, definitely thinks they could go the distance; especially as they both will finally give into their feelings and end up sleeping together this week.

Speaking about the storyline on This Morning, Gemma said: "They were best friends before hand, do you you get with your best mate and ruin your friendship?
"They don't know what to do at the minute."
She added: "They both like each other but they're worried in telling each other they'll make it worse. Pretending they're cool but then secretly their both pining for each other - it's quite sad."
With Carly looking after April as a nanny and having confided in Marlon about losing a child to cot death in the past, he could be the breath of fresh air that Carly truly needs.
She explains: "Only Marlon knows about it, so again, there's that connection, he knows her story and her history. With Marlon it's Mr stability, Mr genuine, Mr long-term safety.”
The 31-year-old also revealed: "We are going to bring it back [the cot death storyline] later in the year, there is more to come and more to be revealed with that story.
"But the writers want to get it just right, they don't want do anyone mis-justice."
