Emmerdale star Adam Thomas has said he'd like to see his character Adam Barton hook up with Aaron Dingle
Adam Thomas has admitted that he'd like to see Adam Barton and Aaron Dingle's relationship swing from bromance to romance. Speaking at a press event, Adam joked that he's still holding out for a gay storyline and would love his character to get together with BFF Aaron. He said: "He loves Aaron. He's his best mate and he'd die for him, man. He really would. If Aaron's in danger, or upset, he's obviously going to be there for him. I just hope that they get together, to be honest with you!"
Adam's character is currently married to Victoria Sugden, but the pair are going through a rocky patch since learning that Adam can't have children.
He's been skulking around the village and even shared a drunken kiss with Vanessa - which will obviously get discovered by Victoria at some point in the future.
But Mr Thomas joked about his character's upset at not being a father, adding: "Screw the baby, I want to be with Aaron! But no, he loves him so he'll be there for him no matter what."
Things aren't too cosy over in RobRon land either, with Rebecca White currently up the duff after a one night stand with Robert Sugden, while Aaron was in prison recently.
