It’s no secret Chas [Lucy Pargeter] has always disapproved of Robert [Ryan Hawley]’s relationship with her son but, following his shocking confession that dad Gordon raped him as a child, they’re soon united over their mutual love of Aaron [Danny Miller].
After going to the police, Aaron was forced to flee the Village when Gordon [Gary Mavers] threatened to have his uncle Cain Dingle arrested if he didn’t change his story.
But, when her search for Gordon’s ex-wife Sandra leads to a dead end, Robert encourages Chas to keep trying for Aaron’s sake.
Robert tells Chas he wants to help and she presses on, searching through Aaron’s old school reports for some sort of sign that he was being abused.
Desperate to help her son get justice for the horrific crimes committed by her ex-husband, Chas grows frustrated and finds she has no choice but to turn to Robert.
Throughout their affair, Chas has made it very clear she disapproves of her son’s relationship with Robert – and has often questioned his intentions for being with Aaron.
However, realising she can’t do it alone, she takes Robert up on his offer and floors him by asking for a huge favour.
But will Robert be able to complete Chas’s request, and will it finally prove to her that he genuinely cares for Aaron?
