Could Emmerdale's favourite couple be leaving Yorkshire for their own spin-off adventures?
With EastEnders stars Kat and Alfie all set for their Redwater debut tomorrow (Thursday) night - it's led to all sorts of chat about which other soap characters could hold their own in a spin-off series. And Emmerdale's Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle could be heading out of the Dales for their own mini-series of adventures and frolice - well if Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley, get their way that is.
The Emmerdale actors were both up for a Robron drama, if the opportunity arose.
Danny told Express.co.uk: "Absolutely, yeah I'd do it!" Ryan added: "I like working with him, so why not?"
The pair were quite excited about the idea and even came up with some possible titles for the very-much-not-yet confirmed show. Bluewater, Bluedale and Reddale, were among their suggestions.
Emmerale boss, Iain McLeod, also spoke out about his interest in doing a spin-off or some kind.
He said: "We've talked about doing a massive Emmerdale crime extravaganza, a murder story, then a spin-off show which would focus on the police investigation."
He was quick to add though: "It would kind of be like Prime Suspect meets Emmerdale. We talked about it in jest only."
Jest?! We think it's a great idea!
