Singing cakes and tumbling tarts - the new trailer for Channel 4's first series of The Great British Bake Off is pretty epic!

Like most people, we were SHOCKED when news broke that Channel 4 had outbid the BBC and would be taking over The Great British Bake Off.

And then, when were learnt Mary Berry and Mel and Sue were leaving the show in protest, well, to be quite honest, we lost all hope.

However things might not be as hopeless as we originally thought.

Not only have Sandi Toksvig, Noel Fielding and Prue Leith all now been confirmed to be appearing on the show alongside Bake Off stalwart, Paul Hollywood, but Channel 4 have just realsed their first trailer for the new series and, well, it looks kinda great.

The animated trailer shows a plethora of scrumptious-looking baked goods - from croissants and cupcakes to prison guard Paul's infamous lion bread (remember that? Of course you do!) - singing along to Paul McCartney's We All Stand Together.
