Hollyoaks fans have loved watching Duncan James on our screen as Ryan Knight.
The policeman who is dating Ste Hay’s ex-girlfriend Amy Barnes arrived in the village earlier this year with Amy and her two children (who she had with Ste).
Viewers have seen Ste and Ryan battle it out over the children’s custody and although on-screen the pair hate each other, off-screen it couldn’t be further from the truth.
Duncan who plays Ryan, and is the guest judge for our Little Horrors Halloween competition this year, has revealed that he and Kieron (who plays Ste) are always laughing and he even joked: “We’ll probably end up getting together in some twisted gay storyline somewhere down the line.
“You never know with Hollyoaks, more crazy things have happened! Me and Kieron do laugh at that, can you imagine?
“We hate each other but this time next year we could be in bed together, it’d be funny,” he told the Daily Star.
The dad-of-one who won our Dad of the Year Award 2016 has admitted that he doesn’t like being horrible to Ste, “I know it’s not Duncan being horrible to Kieron, it’s Ryan being horrible to Ste.
“I keep doing horrible things and I’m like ‘I’m sorry Kieron!’”
We’re happy the boys are friends in real life!
And it looks like Hollyoaks viewers will get to see Ryan in action very soon. In the shows Autumn trailer we see Ryan at the Halloween Spooktacular event reporting Nico: “She’s in a dark hoody with a skeleton design on her top. This girl is dangerous and needs to be caught.”
Eek!
We can’t wait to see what happens…
