Hollyoaks fans you might be a little surprised that Hollyoaks probably wasn't the first time you saw Charlie Wernham on your TV. Back in 2008 he appeared in front of Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell on Britain's Got Talent.

At 13-years-old Charlie appeared on the ITV talent show as a comedian and wowed the judges – including Simon Cowell who said: "Charlie, we've had some absolutely rotten comedians on the show but these were the only things that made me laugh and the only ones I could understand."

Go Charlie!

He managed to make it up to the semi-finals but unfortunately was eliminated from the competition and George Sampson went on and won the show. Charlie has since joked that he thought he got away with his audition without anyone noticing. Bless him.

Fast forward five years after his BGT appearance and we saw the lovable Charlie back on our screens but as Robbie Roscoe in Hollyoaks. During his time in Hollyoaks we saw him bully his teacher John Paul with his friend Finn O'Connor, propose to his girlfriend Pheobe McQueen, sleep with Nancy Osborne after Pheobe's funeral and have an affair with his brothers girlfriend Holly Cunningham.

He later decided to leave Hollyoaks with his twin brother to live in South Africa with their mum.
