Linda Gray returns to Hollyoaks tonight as Tabby Maxwell-Brown for the funeral of her grandson, Nathan. Tabby's grieving herself, but her main concern is for Marnie who is struggling to cope with Nathan's death. Tabby will be a support system for the Nightingale family - yes, even for Mac.
She also bonds with Alfie when the emotion of the funeral gets to much and he has to leave. He confides in Tabby about dealing with Jade's death and she helps him realise that it's maybe time to let go.
Linda is excited to be returning to Hollyoaks. She said: "“[Coming back to Hollyoaks] was like coming back to my family, I loved it! David (Easter - who plays Mac), Lysette (Anthony - Marnie) and I had lovely conversations about our families and David’s wife made me some chocolate cupcakes and we were just sharing things and catching up like old friends.
“I am a people person and I love the way I was treated and everyone was so lovely to be around.”
Tabby makes her return in tonight's first look Hollyoaks on E4 at 7pm.
