It’s Hollyoaks FriYAY and here’s 3 new spoilers to kickstart your Bank Holiday

It's a new Hollyoaks week - hurrah - and it's a big one for Mercedes Mcqueen. Read on for the spoilers...

There is one ship that we're loving at the moment in Hollyoaks, but it's not a relationship, it's a friendship - our favourite kind of ship. Mercedes McQueen and Scott Drinkwell's friendship has blossomed since she discovered he was fleecing money from James Nightingale. Jennifer Metcalfe says of their friendship: "Mercedes drives the mischief in their friendship, which I really like because Scott’s mischievous as it is but she gives him an extra push."

1. Scott finds his dad - or does he?

They're up to some serious stuff this week though when Mercedes goes with Scott to visit the man he thinks is his biological father.

But he gets more than he bargained for when he discovers that, not only is this man not his dad, Greta - the woman who told him his mum was dead - is actually his birth mother. Head spin or what?

Mercedes also discovers an envelope of cash at Ryan's which has been hidden in a drawer. And while he's been telling Mercedes that he wants them to be together, he's also been fending off advances from someone called Jules. Who the heck is Jules?

Jennifer says of Ryan: "Mercedes knows there’s something not quite right [about Ryan] – one minute he’s hot, and the next minute he’s cold… Mercedes and Ryan actually connect on quite a nice level though; they have a good chemistry together and in this week they do form a genuine friendship."

2. Kim tries to kill Grace

Meanwhile, Kim is still hiding in the attic at the Osborne’s but when she witnesses an intimate moment between Esther and Grace, she swears to get rid of Grace for good. Taking a leaf out of sister, Lindsey’s book, Kim lies in wait at Grace’s flat armed with a pair of rubber gloves and a syringe.

Later, Esther is horrified when she sees Kim standing on top of the archway in the village. Esther races up to speak to her estranged wife but Kim falls into the village below…

3. Darcy tries to ruin Maxine's wedding

Ah kids and colouring pens, the two never mix. Especially when there is a lovely, white wedding dress lying around. Darcy ramps up her plan to ruin Maxine and Adam's wedding day by getting Toby to draw on the bride's dress. Vicious.
