Hollyoaks’s Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle) is definitely one of soapland’s most notorious serial killers.

And it’s now been confirmed that he WILL strike again tonight.

In tonight’s unmissable scenes, Silas will confront Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) at her home, seemingly thrilled to finally have a chance to settle their score.

Check out the first look here:

However it seems as if their encounter may not go exactly as Silas had initially planned.

Judging from previous teaser scenes, it seems as if Mercedes has a chance at survival - if she can only prove her worth.

But, as they begin playing chess (aka Silas’s favourite game), he soon spots a necklace around Mercedes's neck.

After the killer probes her about it, Mercedes reluctantly reveals that she wears it in order to remember her and Joe Roscoe’s baby son, Gabriel, who was tragically stillborn.

Could Mercedes’s revelation go on to trigger something even more terrifying in Silas?

Either way, it’s not just Mercedes who’s in the firing line; there’s also Joe and Freddie Roscoe to think about.

And let’s not forget the Gloved Hand Killer herself, Lindsey.

After all, we know that Sophie Austin will be leaving the soap very soon - and we also know that her final scenes will involve a major twist with Silas and Mercedes.

The 31-year-old actress told Digital Spy: “All I will say is I've been filming a lot with Jen Metcalfe and she has unfinished business with Silas.

"Whether it's the end of the road for Lindsay, you'll have to wait and see."

What does Silas have to say about his sinister intentions?

Well, he kept things pretty cryptic (as ever) - but his warning does suggest that there’s a LOT more to his actions than a simple revenge strike against Mercedes.

Check it out…

“One bad choice, one mistake and you can lose everything you stand for. Everything you've been fighting for.

"A long time ago, I made a wrong turn, got lost. It's taken me years to get back on this path.

“But now I'm finally here, I'm going to make sure I get it right..."

Eep!
