EastEnders fans were left very impressed with one certain aspect of newcomer Lee Ryan’s performance during Friday night’s episode.
The former Blue singer joined the BBC soap as bad boy Woody this week and made his debut appearance on Tuesday.
And just a couple of days later he was already leaving some viewers hot under the collar by whipping off his top to show his toned torso.
Fans of former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Lee may find his naked body an unusual sight as he has stripped off for photoshoots before.
But, as he strolled around the Queen Vic with his top off this week, the former Boyband star got some people talking.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: “Holy f--k EastEnders just got 10x better thanks to Lee Ryan what a b--ody sight for sore eyes.”
Another wrote: “I’ve just seen Lee Ryan without a shirt on for the first time in years. All of a sudden everything is right with the world #eastenders.”
Another ‘Enders fan remarked: “Lee Ryan topless already. You are treating us #eastenders.”
Lee joined EastEnders as Woody who was sent to manage the Queen Vic while landlady Linda Carter is away.
On joining the cast, the former boyband star said: “I am so excited to be part of the show. Woody is the best role I could have wished to play. He’s a brilliant character, and it’s clear he’s been leading a full and colourful life.
“I can’t want for people to see what he’s like for themselves.”
