Strictly's smiliest ever contestant may just be a few step-ball-changes away from getting her hands on coveted Glitterball trophy – but former Eternal singer Louise Redknapp isn't getting competitive with her fellow finalists (Ore Oduba and Danny Mac), she's just simply relishing every single moment.

"The minute I thought of it as a competition I would have stopped enjoying it," she tells us at the final Strictly press conference.

"I would be an absolute liar to sit here and say to take home that glitter ball wouldn’t be amazing but at the same time I’m just so proud to be there on Saturday night. I’m going to give it my best and enjoy every minute of it."

Ater revealing that she very nearly quit the show at the start of the series after fearing she wasn't good enough Louise is now the only woman left and is quickstepping her way to the finals with her veeeeery dishy dance partner Kevin Clifton!

And it's not just her dancing that has come on leaps and bounds since the beginning of her Strictly journey, her confidence and relationships have improved as a result too.

When asked how her husband Jamie Redknapp felt about her getting in the final, Louise, 42, admitted: "When I first started doing this show I thought this would so not be up Jamie’s street but I can’t get rid of him - he comes every Saturday and he’s in the front row, he’s in the training room!

"I wasn’t expecting that at all, I thought I’d just go off and do my thing, he was very happy for me to do it. He said, ‘I think this is going to be great for you and I think it’s about time you got back out there and showed everyone who you are and what you are!’"

Adding that Strictly has not only improved her confidence and belief in herself, it's done wonders for her family life: "All that has made this even more special for me because it’s really nice to see someone you love extremely proud of you and it takes me back to how we were twenty years ago when we first met, all the good things comes out of Strictly!"

Louise's confession is particulary refreshing given how many marriages and relationships have fallen victim to the now infamous 'Strictly' curse.

We're loving this new, incredibly sassy Louise but do you think she has what it takes to win?
